Computer Viruses

Computer virus got its name because as the biological virus makes a human sick, the computer virus makes the computer sick.  Also, similar to a virus spreading among humans, a computer virus can spread among computers. 

People do not always know when or how they receive a computer virus.  A computer may start acting strangely, things happen abnormally or the computer slows down.  Viruses are sometimes piggybacked on other programs or sent through E-mail.
